Welcome to Miss Tanya's Woodland School!

Miss Tanya's Woodland School offers a program emphasizing socialization, independence skills and fun! We provide a rich curriculum for both preschoolers and kindergartners.

Established in 2000, we are in the business of working with you to provide an enriching, creative and exciting early childhood experience for your child.

We are proud to be accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Philosophy

Our mission is to help your child develop a sense of joy, wonder and curiosity about learning. We endeavor to provide you and your child with a positive "first school" experience.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is based on the natural growth and development of each child. We address the needs of the whole child including social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. Our teachers respect the uniqueness of each child and work with them to foster a sense of self worth.

With warmth and caring, our teachers encourage your child to explore, experiment and experience the centers available in our classrooms as well as our outdoor play space. In both small group and individual settings our teachers offer suggestions, guidance and pose questions as your child learns through interaction with his/her environment.
